Insect leaf herbivory on Mount Kilimanjaro

DOI

This data set includes data on leaf herbivory by invertebrates (mostly insects) from 55 study plots along elevation and land use gradients on Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.

This data set contains data on the leaf herbivory by insects (leaf chewing, leaf mining, gall-inducing). Every study plot was visited four times. On each plot leaf herbivory (in percent leaf area lost) was visually determined for 15 plants. More information on the standardized protocol can be derived in the paper published with the data set.
