Induction furnace for POLARIS; second in-beam test

DOI

The induction furnace build for POLARIS was tested in-beam for the first time in November 2018.Since then adjustments has been made to the copper coils which has been coated with boronnitride (BN) in order to minimise scattering from the setup whilst keeping a large beamsize. Alsochanges has been made to the sample holder which now consists of a steel tube instead of aquartz tube. This has decreased the thermal gradient within the sample drastically. During thesecond in-beam test we wish to investigate the new scattering profile using the BN coated coppercoils and replicate an experiment performed at GEM in May 2018 during which the magneticmoment of CoFe2O4 is followed during elevated temperatures.
