We propose muSR measurements on Zn-doped La(1-x/2)Eu(1-x/2)Sr(x)CuO(4)(LESCO) to reveal the intrinsic magnetism in the T-type cuprate with CuO(5) pyramid coordination through impurity-doping effect. Quite recently, we carried out the first systematic muSR measurement on LESCO and clarified the spin-glass-like magnetism in the as-sintered(AS) non-superconducting samples and the absence of static magnetism in the oxidation annealed(OA) superconducting ones. These results clearly demonstrate a drastic variation of ground state by the annealing and the competitive relation between static magnetism and superconductivity. Therefore, LESCO definitely provides a unique opportunity to study the magnetism in the T-type cuprate. Taking this opportunity, we would like to elucidate the intrinsic magnetism in both AS and OA T*-type cuprate by Zn-doping, which is known to be a useful method.
