The Barriers and Facilitators to Screening in Emergency Departments: A Qualitative Evidence Synthesis (QES) Protocol.

This qualitative evidence synthesis will offer a new conceptual model for describing the perspectives, perceptions and experiences of barriers and facilitators experienced by patients and key stakeholders involved in the implementation of screening tools in the ED. The results of this review will inform practice and aid in the development and implementation of change strategies to support the implementation of screening tools in the ED.
