Estimation of environmental Symbiodiniaceae diversity

In order to provide an enhanced characterisation of free-living Symbiodiniaceae diversity over space and time, we applied eDNA metabarcoding using NGS techniques to samples from Heron Island (23°S, 151°E), a well-studied reef system in the southern Great Barrier Reef (GBR).
