HCRF measurements (Ibsen Freedom VIS FSV-305) of bare Arctic sea ice acquired during POLARSTERN cruise PS106/2

DOI

This dataset contains HCRF measurements of a bare ice surface acquired during RV POLARSTERN cruise PS106.2 with a transportable field goniometer (see photo goniometer.jpg) and an Ibsen Freedom VIS FSV-305. The goniometer has been built and designed at German Aerospace Center (DLR) Oberpfaffenhofen by Thomas Schwarzmaier, Stefan Plattner and Peter Gege. The data has been acquired under clear sky conditions. The folder contains two subfolders:1) raw: raw measurements of dark current, reference (spectralon panel at nadir) and target (bare ice surface under different viewing and azimuth angles). Reference spectra were taken for every azimuth angle. 2) reflectance: reflectance data computed from the raw measurements (associated raw files are documented in each reflectance file) including information about sun and viewing zenith and azimuth angles.
