Crystal structures of ammonia-rich metal/ammonia intercalates of iron selenide

DOI

This is a proposal to fully characterise the crystal structures of new, ammonia-rich electropositive metal/ammonia intercalates of iron selenide which are in equilibrium with previously-reported ammonia-poor phases. Both series of phases are high temperature superconductors. Understanding the bonding in these compounds by locating all the light atoms using deuterated materials is a key task in characterising them fully and requires neutron powder diffraction.
