Determination of ion compositions of fluid inclusions in quartz samples was conducted on a SHIMADZU HIC-10A super ion chromatography at the Key Laboratory of Mineral Resources, Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Before analyses, ca. 3g samples were heated at 500℃ for 30 minutes to fully decrepitate the fluid inclusions. Cooled released gases were then extracted using ultrasonic by five times (6 mL per time) to make a 30 ml solution for analyses by the ion chromatography. Replicate analyses show that the measurement precision is better than 5%. Detailed analytical procedures are the same as those described in Yang and Xu (2014).
