This comprises the core log files for the experiment reported in the paper:Steed, A., & Lai, J. (2025). Comparison of hand tracking-based and controller-based interaction in a consumer virtual reality game. Virtual Reality, 29(3), 1-15.Each of the twenty one files is a log file from one user playing the game Cubism over a few days. These log files are prepared by filtering the raw JSON log files from the capture service (see paper) to remove unnecessary information and also some gross location data that was recorded by the capture service.Each log file is a comma-separate value file that can be read in Excel, or is easily parsed. A README file gives explicit information about what each column in the file means, but in brief: rows are specific game events that were of interest for the paper, and columns are important information about the event. Each event has a timing, both in time since start of the application, and a wall clock time. See the README file for more details.
