Genomics and transcriptomics of deep-sea mussel Gigantidas haimaensis and its sulfur-oxidizing epibiont and methanotrophic endsymbiont

Deep-mussel Gigantidas haimaensis lives in cold seep and supported by its epibiont and endosymbionts.The objective of this study is to illustrate the relationship between the tripartite holobiont and reveal their adaptive success in the deep-sea chemosynthetic ecosystems.
