Seston samples collected with Niskin bottles; 4 L filtered onto GF/F filters. C and N composition and stable isotopes analyzed with elemental analyzer (Carlo Erba CHNSO 1108) coupled to an isotope-ratio mass spectrometer (Finnigan Matt Delta Plus).
