Disease levels in binary mixtures of rice and wheat

DOI

Pairs of intra-specific plant genotypes (rice or wheat) were grown together and inoculated with various foliar fungal pathogens. Disease levels were measured in focal plants. Thus the phenotype measured (disease level) in focal plants is due to the genotype of this focal plant AND the genotype of the neighbor.
