Aircraft measurements of spectral solar up- and downward irradiances in the Arctic during the MOSAiC-ACA campaign 2020

DOI

During the MOSAiC Airborne observations in the Central Arctic (MOSAiC-ACA) campaign in August / September 2020 spectral up- and downward irradiances were measured in the Svalbard area using the Spectral Modular Airborne Radiation measurement sysTem (SMART-Albedometer). The data set provides solar spectra (400 - 1800 nm) along the flight tracks of 8 flights performed by the Polar 5 aircraft in 2 Hz resolution.

The nc-Files contain information on time (UTC), flight altitude, longitude, latitude, wavelength, and the spectral down- and upward irradiances. One file per flight is provided.
