MVCO Ciliate amplicon diversity

We evaluated planktonic ciliate diversity at the Martha's Vineyard Coastal Observatory from 2013-2017 using OCSP amplicon Illumina sequencing to determine the seasonal patterns from a genomic perspective, to identify dominant taxa that appear either annually or sporadically, to identify co-occurrence of specific taxa (e.g. parasites and hosts) and to compare those with image data collected by the Imaging Flow CytoBot.
