Research Dataset: Explicit and Implicit Attitudes toward CCTV in Germany and the United Kingdom

This repository contains the anonymized research dataset used in studies examining explicit and implicit attitudes toward CCTV in Germany and the United Kingdom.

The dataset includes measures of:

  • Explicit positive attitudes toward CCTV
  • Explicit negative attitudes toward CCTV
  • Implicit attitudes (SC-IAT D-scores)
  • Fear of crime indicators
  • Perceived effectiveness of CCTV
  • Knowledge of CCTV
  • Sociodemographic variables

Total sample size: N = 621 (Germany = 359; United Kingdom = 262).

The dataset is provided for scientific, educational, and non-commercial research purposes.
