These files contain the supplemental materials of an observation study on the interactions between people with profound intellectual disabilities and support staff. The data can not be shared due to the privacy of the participants.

Method: Three dyads comprising of a staff member and a person with profound intellectual disabilities were filmed during an interaction. The video was reviewed by the researcher together with the staff member to detect moments of interaction that were valued meaningful by the staff member. Three fragments were microanalytically coded by use of a developed observation system, and the presence of behaviour was explored.
