Point Cloud Data of Beads and Parts Printed using Multi-Axis Silicone Liquid Deposition Modeling.

This dataset contains point cloud sets acquired on beads and parts printed in multi-axis LDM silicone.

The points measured on the beads reveal the variable geometry of the central part of beads printed with different printing parameters and nozzle angulations. The points concerning the parts show the impact of using triangular and flattened beads on the surfaces of a multi-axis printed part, which can be compared with two other Cartesian printed parts.

This dataset highlighted the change in bead shape as a function of printing parameters and nozzle angulation. The observations made at the bead scale could be applied to the printing of a whole part, to analyze their impact on the condition of its surfaces.

This dataset is offered to the scientific community for the creation of a database or for analysis purposes.
