Raw data of a set of experiments aimed to evaluate the influence of hydrophilic carbon and nitrogen sources on the production of deacetylated lactonic C18:1 sophorolipid focusing on the variation of glucose and urea ratio by applying a Box-Behnken design (BBD)
METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Experimental design carried out with a solid matrix made up wheat straw, winterization oil cake, nutrient’s dilution mix (glucose, yeast extract and urea) and Starmerella bombicola yeast.
-
Description of methods used for collection-generation of data:
Several solid-state fermentations at Erlenmeyer flask scale (0.5L) with a total solid substrate weight around 20.3 ± 0.6 g with a dry matter of 53.5% (10.84 g).
-
Methods for processing the data:
Production, productivity and growth results were analized based on a quadratic model. Growth results were transform in log for a better fitting.
-
Instrument- or software- specific information needed to interpret the data:
- Excel or similar soft
-

-
Solid state fermentation developed at 30 ºC, at 96, 168 and 240h.
-
Quality-assurance procedures performed on the data:
A triplicate was set up in the central point for each fermentation time and residues subtitution was performed by triplicate and dupplicate for pure error estimation.
