Documents have been collected from the online archive of the US Department of State, US Department of Defense, the website of the National Archive (which contains the Public Papers of the Presidents), and the database Proquest Congressional Hearings. These online archives and databases were searched using the following key words: ‘India’ or ‘New Delhi’ or ‘South Asia’.
