Domains formation in metamagnetic Sr4Ru3O10

We propose to measure the evolution of the large magnetic structures in the triple-layer itinerant ruthenate Sr4RU3O10 in the range of temperature from 2K to 300K, and to follow the hysteresis in the magnetisation up to 3-4 tesla. We aim at estimating the coherence length and the size of the magnetic domains/bubbles using the SANS instrument D33 on which we have already successfully tested the feasibility of the experiment.
