The seagrass Halophila stipulacea epiphytic associated bacteriome along a depth gradient (4- 28 m)

The seagrass holobiont, Halophila stipulacea, was studied using a multidisciplinary approach including morphology, biochemistry (pigment and phenol content) and epiphytic microbial communities to depict variations in ecophysiology and the associated bacteriome along a depth gradient (4-28 m) in the northern Gulf of Aqaba, Red Sea.
