Snow temperature measurements at ice stations during POLARSTERN cruise PS81 (ANT-XXIX/6, AWECS)

Measurements were obtained doing classical snow pits at all ice stations as well as additional stations served by helicopter during PS81 (ANT-29/6, AWECS). Snow pits were taken at representative locations of the floe. Measurements were done on an undisturbed shaded working wall of the snow pit.
