Implementation of a Non-linear Reissner-Mindlin Shell Formulation in Matlab

This dataset contains a finite element implementation of a consistent geometrically non-linear Reissner-Mindlin shell using NURBS as basis functions. The implementation is done using Matlab. The non-linear Reissner-Mindlin model incorporates a unit director field. The interpolation of this field is tackled using interpolation on manifolds, i.e. the director field is interpolated using projection-based finite elements.
