2D multichannel seismic reflection processed data of RV POLARSTERN during cruise PS141, Vincennes Bay shelf, AWI-20240009, focus on grounding-zone wedge internal structure, PS141_38_1

DOI

Seismic reflection profile was collected during RV Polarstern cruise PS141 on the Vincennes Bay continental shelf in March 2024 to investigate the internal structure of a giant grounding-zone wedge. The data were acquired using 1 to 3 GI-Guns (Sercel) and a 600 m-long streamer in East Antarctica. Details of the data acquisition parameters are provided in the expedition report (Krastel, 2025). These data are processed (Bandpass-filtering, FK-filtering, CDP sorting and velocity analysis, normal moveout corrections and migration), seismic reflection profiles. The Profile AWI2024-0009 is shorten to grounding-zone wedge. For information on seismic processing details consult ReadMe file or SEG-Y text headers.
