Investigating the magnetism in the potential multiferroics Pb3TeCo3B2O14 (B = V, P)

DOI

We propose to use WISH to perform high resolution diffraction measurements using a fine temperature step size on powder Pb3TeCo3B2O14 (B=V,P). These measurements are crucial to understanding the first magnetic structure, which is believed to have coexisting static and dynamic spins. We will need a standard ILL orange cryostat to reach temperatures as low as 4.3 K, no applied magnetic fields, and 2 days of beam time to meet our objectives.
