A comparison of 7T imaging with 8- and 2-channel transmit systems.

The quality of MRI scans on the multi-channel transmit was compared to that of the classic 2-channel system. An MP2RAGE sequence was used to acquire high-resolution anatomical data. Two echo planar imaging acquisitions were used to compare functional MRI data quality. The first was a standard 2mm acquisition, the second a high-resolution 3D-EPI acquisition.
