Social Norms during the COVID-19 Pandemic in Spain (2020)

DOI

This is a partial replication dataset. It includes all variables and cases necessary to replicate the analyses reported in the associated publication. This dataset contains original survey data collected in Spain during the COVID-19 pandemic, covering the period from strict lockdown in spring 2020 through the early phases of reopening. The study investigates social norms, informal sanctioning, civic and uncivic behaviours, perceptions of rule compliance, attitudes toward informal social control, and experiences of being sanctioned by others. The dataset includes measures of normative expectations, enforcement behaviours, emotional and psychological correlates, and full sociodemographic information. It is suitable for research on social norms, political behaviour, crisis response, and informal social regulation.
