This data set is linked to the article title "Spatiotemporal dynamics of urban climate during the wet-dry season transition in a tropical African city" that was published in Int J Biometeorol (https://doi.org/10.1007/s00484-020-02061-1).The data set contains three work sheets: (1) PlotDailyTimeSeriesOfUrbanClima; (2) DailyIntraUrbanClimateDifferenc; (3) SurfaceCover&SeasonalUrbClimate.Work sheet 1 ( PlotDailyTimeSeriesOfUrbanClima) contains the temporal (daily) changes of a wide range of urban climate variables at corresponding monitoring stations used in this study; Worksheet 2 (DailyIntraUrbanClimateDifferenc) contains a measure for intra-urban climate differences (sd) across all locations on a day-to-day basis; Worksheet 3 contains surface cover characteristics at each monitoring site and corresponding urban climate data averaged across each season (wet and dry).
