Chamber flux data for the Ambolikha permafrost floodplain monitoring site near Chersky, Northeast Siberia

DOI

The Chersky study site is located on a floodplain of the Kolyma River near Chersky in northeastern Siberia. It features a subsection with a decade-long experimental drainage, and an undisturbed control section nearby. This collection summarizes small-scale observations from these experiments, mostly based on non-steady-state flowthrough (i.e., closed dynamic) chambers with a side length of 60x60 cm made of transparent plexiglas. Greenhouse gas concentrations of CO2, CH4 and H2O were measured using an Ultra-Portable Greenhouse Gas Analyzer (UGGA; Los Gatos Research, San Jose, CA, USA).
