SPARK-Raw: Unprocessed High-Resolution Energy Data from a Sustainable Industrial Production Area in Karlsruhe

DOI

SPARK-Raw provides unprocessed, high-resolution electricity measurements from 22 industrial machines - including mills, lathes, chip presses, and pumps - and a photovoltaic system, recorded at a 5-second sampling rate over one to seven years. Collected at the Campus North of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, the dataset includes detailed electrical quantities such as voltages, currents, active and reactive power, harmonics, total harmonic distortion, and frequency. In contrast to the curated and quality-checked SPARK dataset, SPARK-Raw contains the original, unfiltered measurements in their full temporal and structural detail, offering a transparent foundation for data cleaning, preprocessing, and validation in industrial energy analytics research.

The dataset follows the directory structure MACHINE/MEASUREMENT/VALUES_PER_YEAR, with all files compressed in .csv.xz format for space-efficient storage.
