We propose an inelastic neutron scattering experiment on single crystal SrCu2(BO3)2 (SCBO) in the applied field up to 26T. SCBO is one of the most prominent examples of coupled spin dimer magnet with strong frustration, a realization of the Shastry-Sutherland system. Previous investigations on the magnetic field behavior of the first triplet excitation and its dispersion strongly suggests the importance of the Dzyaloshinski-Moriya interaction in this system. The implication of this anisotropy can be crucial to understand the magnetic correlations in the magnetization plateaus phase. It is thus very important to study the magnetic field behavior of the first triplet excitation close to the critical field.
