This survey of final year undergraduates in British universities focuses upon their career and employment aspirations and expectations

Attitudinal/Behavioural Questions Salary expectations upon leaving university and at age thirty; expectations of remaining with same employer and towards residential mobility; whether and when decision about future career made; whether jobs already applied for and job offers received; image of university graduates; attitude towards large companies; periodicals read for career information; views on quality of management in Britain; views on quality of British educational system and value of university as a preparation for business or industrial careers; value of university careers service. Background Variables Sex, parental social class (father's occupation), educational background, major subjects at university, sponsorship by employer, newspapers read.
