Orthomosaic created with Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) photographs acquired at 100 meters above ground in May 24, 2018 at 3 p.m. (Brazilian Meridian Time zone -3) using Phantom 4. The mosaic covers an area named "Praínha" of the Federal University of Santa Maria - UFSM in the municipality of Iraí, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The data were used to characterize the area in order to planning recreational uses and evaluate the potential of UAV scenes to such applications. A Phantom 4 Go Pro camera was used at nadir (90º) in automatic mode. The environmental conditions were characterized by no wind, clear sky, and a duration of 15 minutes. A total of 288 photographs were used and can be made available at original format. Central coordinates: 27°10'57.08"S and 53°15'8.53"W Along and cross track overlay of 80%. The mosaic was created using AGISOFT® Photoscan (now Metashape) software. The general processing characteristics are included in the file description. No GCP were used in the processing. A high quality dense cloud was generated (moderate filtering) and the DEM was used to create the orthomosaic.
