Rare-earth orthoferrites (RFeO3) and orthochromates (RCrO3) exhibit canted antiferromagnetic structure with 3 different allowed spin configuration (SC)s.Temperature as well as magnetic field can convert from one SC to other gives rise to spin reorientation (SR). SR transition is itself fascinating despite being rarely studied; hence a comprehensive study can be made from composites of RTO3 with varying R or T (T:Fe, Cr). Samples would be made up of two different R or T with equal proportion (such as NdFe0.5Cr0.5O3, Nd0.5Y0.5CrO3 and Nd0.5Sm0.5CrO3) showing different SC during SR transition. The samples may possess any of the allowed SCs or a new SC or a transformation from one SC to another. The critical question that will be examined through neutron diffraction is as follows: the path of evolution of SC in the temperature range (10K to 300K) and any new SR transition appearing or not.
