Resident parasitoid complex of Tuta absoluta (Lepidopera: Gelechiidae) in North‐eastern Spain

DOI

The dataset contains 4 data files. First and second files compiles information about natural parasitism of Tuta absoluta larvae collected during 2017–2020 in commercial tomato plots in Catalonia (Northeast of Spain). In the laboratory Tuta absoluta larvae were classified as “ectoparasitized” (with pupae, larvae or eggs of a parasitoid on them), “alive” (not ectoparasitized and still able to crawl when touched with a fine brush), or “dead” (not ectoparasitized and unable to crawl when touched with a fine brush). Third and fourth files provide the identification of adult larval parasitoids reared from the samples. This datasets helps to assess the contribution of different parasitoid species to the natural biological control of Tuta absoluta (Meyrick) (Lepidoopera:Gelechiidae).
