This dataset contains the following entries: WeatherData_V4257_ROOTBIOME_IRTA_TableS1 contains a summary of weather data from 2017 to 2022 in Les Borges Blanques (sampling location) to better understand the environmental background of the trees from which root samples were taken. DADA2_StatsOutput_V4257_ROOTBIOME_IRTA_TableS2 contains the denoising stats produced by DADA2 from the input sequences of the three communities (bacteria, fungi, and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi) in order to see what is the amount of effective sequences to be used as input for downstream analysis. Metadata_V4257_ROOTBIOME_IRTA_TableS3 contains the metadata of the samples (sample ID, block, rootstock, growth_type, genetic background) to be used as grouping factors for downstream analysis, including alpha diversity, beta diversity, relative abundance, and differential abundance. ANOSIM_pairwise_comparison_V4257_ROOTBIOME_IRTA_TableS4 contains the ANOSIM pairwise results from the beta diversity analysis to compare differences in microbial community compositions, helping to identify differences in beta diversity or community composition among samples. Correlation_ASV_soil_chemical_parameters_V4257_ROOTBIOME_IRTA_TableS5 contains the results from the correlations of bacterial and fungal ASVs annotated at genus level with soil physicochemical parameters in order to identify patterns of specific ASVs associated to higher or lower concentrations of soil nutrients for each genetic background.
