Eukaryote community structure in the Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin (Sousa chinensis) habitats of the Beibu Gulf using 18s rRNA DNA metabarcoding

We aimed to study the eukaryote community in the habitats of Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin in Beibu Gulf, China. We used 18S rRNA gene (V4 region) high-throughput sequencing (HTS) of 64 seawater samples collected from Sanniang Bay (SNB) and Dafeng River (DFR) in northern Beibu Gulf of China during the four climate seasons.
