Pan-Latin Bicycle Vocabulary

PID

Cycling has long been of great interest in many parts of the world. Both as a leisure activity and as a sport, cycling plays an important role in the daily lives of millions of people. The Pan-Latin Bicycle Vocabulary was developed within the Pan-Latin Terminology Network (REALITER), in collaboration with the Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF). The resource contains terms in seven Romance languages (French, Catalan, Spanish, Galician, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian) and in English. In the case of Spanish, the equivalents used in Mexico are also included. For the Portuguese language, both the Portuguese of Portugal and Brazil are considered. The definitions are provided in French.
