Magnetic structure determination on the multiferroic (C5)4[MnCr2(C2O4)6]·nH2O compound: A relaxor polar magnet

The main objective of this proposal is the magnetic structure determination on the multiferroic heteronuclear oxalate-based three-dimensional (C5)4[MnCr2(C2O4)6]·nH2O compound. This compound present a ferromagnetic behaviour below the magnetic ordering with a Tc of 4.2 K. In order to determine the magnetic structure, we apply to one day of the high flux neutron diffractometer D20 (or D1B) equipped with the standard vanadium tail orange cryostat.
