The Cyprus Oral History Project: Illuminating our Lives/Teaching the Conflict—Truth and Reconciliation through Oral History Research (COHP)

DOI

The main aim of the research project was to record through notes, photographs, sound and images the voices and words of the people of Cyprus, people from every community and age in order to immortalize their memories from the historical period 1960-1974, before and after. It is an attempt to understand the special meaning of these individuals' stories as an approach to "teaching conflict" and promoting reconciliation and peace education.
