Properties of liquid-dominated clouds over the ice-free and sea-ice-covered Arctic Ocean during AFLUX

DOI

This dataset contains retrieved microphysical properties of liquid-dominated clouds from the Arctic Amplification: FLUXes in the Cloudy Atmospheric Boundary Layer (AFLUX, March/April 2019) airborne campaign. The retrieved parameters of the dataset are effective radius, optical thickness and effective liquid water path. AFLUX took place in the vicinity of Svalbard over the ice-free and sea-ice-covered Arctic Ocean. A statistically analysis of this dataset and an explanation of the retrieval method is published in Klingebiel et al. (2023, https://doi.org/10.5194/acp-2022-848).
