Atmospheric methane and meteorological observations of coal mine ventilation shaft emissions with the helicopter-borne probe HELiPOD during the Methane-To-Go Poland campaign 2022

Airborne measurements of atmospheric methane and meteorological data obtained in July and October 2022 in the vicinity of coal mine ventilation shafts in the Upper Silesian Coal Basin. Measurements were performed with the platform HELiPOD, a drag sonde attached as a sling load to a helicopter. This dataset supplements Förster et al., https://doi.org/10.5194/egusphere-2025-1010, 2025, where it has been described and analyzed.
