We collected water samples from the river surface using a pre-rinsed HDPE 1 L bottle. Samples were filtered and collected following standardized protocols to ensure consistency and avoid contamination. Nutrient concentrations were determined using continuous segmented flow autoanalyzers (QuAAtro and AA-500, SEAL Analytical) based on colorimetric techniques, where specific reagents produce measurable color changes proportional to nutrient levels.
