Methionine biosynthesis enzyme MoMet2 is required for rice blast fungus pathogenicity by promoting virulence gene expression via reducing 5mC modification

To investigate the function of Momet2 in Magnaporthe oryzae, we generated Momet2 mutant. To understand the impact of MoMET2-depentent 5mC to gene expression at the transcriptional level, we performed comparative transcriptome analysis using the materials harvested from Guy11 and ?Momet2 mycelium samples. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for Guy11 and Momet2 mutant mycelium samples
