This dataset contains survey data collected from 400 individuals aged 18 to 24 in Spain, aimed at examining the determinants of HIV-related stigma among young people. The survey includes measures of stigmatizing behavioral responses based on a scenario-based question, as well as attitudinal stigma, HIV-related knowledge, political ideology, and interpersonal contact with LGBT individuals. In addition, a wide range of sociodemographic variables is included, such as gender, sexual orientation, educational level, employment status, and living arrangements.
The dataset is structured across multiple stages of data processing, including the initial collection, duplicate removal, exclusion criteria application, and final analytical sample. It supports analyses of the social, psychological, and structural factors associated with stigmatizing behaviors toward people living with HIV, with particular attention to the role of interpersonal contact and attitudinal mediation.
