Pathogenic Aeromonas strains from rainbow trout farms in Peru

Rainbow trout is an important aquaculture species in Peru that is affected by bacteria of the genus Aeromonas. For the identification of Aeromonas, a polyphasic analysis is recommended, which includes the analysis of the whole genome sequence. For this reason, Aeromonas strains were isolated from affected rainbow trout organs from various aquaculture regions.
