The compound TbTe3 displays a rich combination of quantum cooperative phenomenon. It is shows charge density wave formation above room temperatures while under pressure it becomes superconducting at 12.4GPa and 4K. Magnetically it orders through a series of transitions at low temperature and at base temperature it is characterised by 2 ordering wavevectors one of which is incommensurate. The diffraction data has not been refined and the magnetic structure has not been solved. Furthermore, recent bulk properties measurements in an applied magnetic field revealed a series of field induced phases. In this proposal we plan to investigate the magnetic structure of TbTe3 in both zero and non-zero magnetic field.
