Total scattering investigation of local structure around iron in FeV-based bcc-hydrides

We wish to perform total scattering measurements at ISIS using the GEM instrument to investigate ferrovanadium (FeV)-based bcc-hydrides and to probe the local structure around the iron atoms. Pair distribution function (PDF) analysis will be utilized together with Reverse Monte Carlo (RMC) modelling in order to find suitable structure models for these potentially important hydrides.
