Metal distribution in Ni-deficient TiNi1-zSn half-Heusler Thermoelectrics

The aim of the experiment is to determine the metal distribution and site occupancies in the Ni-deficient TiNi1-zSn half-Heusler thermoelectrics. Neutrons are needed as they provide good scattering contrast between the constituent elements while POLARIS provides the excellent counting statistics over a wide range of d-spacings needed for an accurate structural determination.
