This dataset comprises part 1 of LiDAR snow depth (SD) measurements collected in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, Spain, in March 2024. Data are provided in a 2 m spatial grid. The vertical accuracy varies depending on the measurement technique; for airborne LiDAR, the vertical resolution is approximately 0.03 m. Data quality control involved the removal of all NoData values and SD measurements outside the physical range [0, 6] m. The dataset presented here corresponds to a larger area of the mountain range and was acquired by SPASA company. The SD layer was obtained by subtracting the surface derived from LiDAR images from the reference digital elevation model (DEM) provided by the National Geographic Institute (IGN).
